I am a doctorally-trained, licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington State. I earned my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from University of St. Thomas, where I specialized in suicide and education, and my Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Southern California, where I specialized in working with families and children. I also have a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Adult & Higher Education from Western Washington University. As an undergraduate at the University of Florida, I earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology with Honors and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology with Honors. Furthermore, I am certified by the WA State Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery as a Mental Health Professional and a Child Mental Health Specialist.
In my professional, internship, and volunteer work, I have gained experience in community mental health, school-based counseling, child welfare, victim advocacy, parent-child visitations, policy advocacy, case management, clinical-based assessments, health & aging social work, and more. I also have experience working with a variety of social and cultural identities, and I am passionate about supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, I serve as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. |
